Greetings!

My name is Louise Fogerty, and I’m a 2D animator, illustrator, and comic artist based in the UK!

I graduated from Middlesex University, London, in 2017 with a first class degree in animation, and I have experience freelancing for a 2D animation studio located just outside London. I have around 4 years of professional experience in animation and design that ranges from art direction, background design, character design, storyboarding, illustration, and 2D animation.

I have experience in TV Paint, and proficiency in a range of Adobe Software (Photoshop, Animate, After Effects, Premier, and Illustrator) .

I have a strong passion for history and storytelling, and my personal work centres mainly on the mythology of Mesoamerica, with projects that include “Rey Sol Tonatiuh”, an ongoing urban-fantasy graphic novel set in modern day Mexico, and a short animation on the Aztec creation story, “Leyenda del Quinto Sol”.
